A sight which cannot and must not be missed at the Zao Hot Springs Ski Resort is the unique forest of “snow monsters”. These large fir trees, coated in an accumulation of fine snow and ice, become dramatic pillars of frost in the winter season.
Whether you are beginner or an expert or in-between, Zao Ski Resort’s 305 hectare ski ground has something for you ! The longest course, an incredible 10km in length, will take you from the summit of the mountain right down through the midst of the spectacular snow monsters. An absolutely breathtaking run !
At the end of a fun-filled day on the snow, treat yourself to a relaxing soak in one of the many hot springs in the area. After freshened up, enjoy most memorable Japanese hospitality with cuisine of Japan. |
